Some lines can’t take a full structural liner — vertical stacks, tight branch lines, and small-diameter cast iron. For those, an epoxy coating rebuilds a smooth, corrosion-resistant barrier on the inside wall, sealing pinholes and slowing the rust and tuberculation that choke old cast iron.
When it’s not the right fit: Coating is a barrier, not a structural rebuild. If the camera shows the pipe is cracked through, offset, or losing its wall, CIPP lining or replacement is the honest answer — we won’t coat over a pipe that needs more.
