Pipe Coating in Phoenix

A brushed or spin-cast epoxy coating restores a smooth, corrosion-resistant barrier inside cast iron and small-diameter lines — ideal where a full structural liner won’t fit, like vertical stacks and tight branch lines.

OLD HOST PIPE NEW CIPP LINER · 50-YR DESIGN LIFE CRACK

Some lines can’t take a full structural liner — vertical stacks, tight branch lines, and small-diameter cast iron. For those, an epoxy coating rebuilds a smooth, corrosion-resistant barrier on the inside wall, sealing pinholes and slowing the rust and tuberculation that choke old cast iron.

How it works

  • Clean first. The pipe is descaled and dried so the epoxy bonds to bare metal, not scale.
  • Camera check. We confirm the wall is sound enough to coat (a pipe with holes through it needs lining or replacement).
  • Apply. Epoxy is brushed or spin-cast onto the interior in controlled passes.
  • Cure & verify. Once cured, a camera pass confirms a continuous, smooth barrier.

When coating is the right call

  • Cast iron with surface corrosion and scale, still structurally intact
  • Vertical stacks and small branch lines a liner can’t fit
  • Slowing future corrosion after descaling
Straight talk

When it’s not the right fit: Coating is a barrier, not a structural rebuild. If the camera shows the pipe is cracked through, offset, or losing its wall, CIPP lining or replacement is the honest answer — we won’t coat over a pipe that needs more.

FAQ

Pipe Coating — questions

Is coating the same as CIPP lining?
No. CIPP installs a structural pipe inside your pipe; coating restores a corrosion barrier on a pipe that’s still structurally sound. We use the camera to decide which one you actually need.
Will it fix a leak?
It can seal pinholes and surface corrosion. If the wall is cracked through or failing, you need lining or replacement — we’ll show you on the footage.
