Hydro Jetting & Descaling in Phoenix

High-pressure water and mechanical descaling clear roots, grease, and years of hardened scale — restoring flow and prepping the pipe so any lining repair bonds properly.

OLD HOST PIPE NEW CIPP LINER · 50-YR DESIGN LIFE CRACK

Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water through specialized nozzles to scour a pipe back to its full diameter — cutting through grease, sludge, roots, and mineral scale that snaking just pokes a hole in. For tuberculated cast iron we add mechanical descaling. It’s both a standalone cleaning service and the essential prep step before CIPP lining.

How it works

  • Camera first. We confirm the pipe can take jetting (a fragile, collapsing pipe needs repair, not pressure).
  • Jet. A high-pressure hose with a cutting nozzle works the full line, flushing debris to the main.
  • Descale. For cast iron, mechanical chains/cutters knock down hard tuberculation.
  • Re-camera. A post-clean pass shows the restored pipe — and any defects the gunk was hiding.

When hydro jetting is the right call

  • Grease-clogged kitchen and restaurant lines
  • Root masses in the line
  • Hardened scale in cast iron
  • Recurring slow drains
  • Prep before CIPP lining
Straight talk

When it’s not the right fit: Jetting cleans — it doesn’t repair. If the camera shows cracks, roots entering at joints, or a belly, you’ll need lining or replacement to stop the problem from returning. We won’t sell you repeat jetting on a pipe that needs a real fix.

FAQ

Hydro Jetting & Descaling — questions

Is hydro jetting safe for old pipes?
On a sound pipe, yes — that’s why we camera-inspect first. If a pipe is already failing, we recommend repair rather than blasting it.
How is jetting different from snaking?
Snaking punches a hole through a blockage; jetting scours the entire pipe wall back to full diameter. For grease and scale, jetting lasts far longer.
